Nicholas (Nick) Gaines PT, DPT — Physical Therapist
Biography
Nick is a passionate physical therapist dedicated to helping people move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they love. His approach to care is centered on understanding each individual’s goals and challenges, and partnering with them to achieve meaningful, lasting improvement.
As a military child, Nick had the opportunity to live in multiple locations and experience a wide range of cultures. This upbringing shaped my adaptability, communication skills, and appreciation for diverse perspectives—qualities he brings into every patient interaction.
Nick earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Nick's academic training, combined with a lifelong love of sports, has given him a strong foundation in movement science, injury prevention, and performance-based rehabilitation.
Whether working with athletes, active individuals, or those recovering from injury, Nick is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care that empowers people to move with confidence and live healthier, more active lives.
